World’s largest chain of hamburger fast food restaurant “McDonald’s” has opened its outlet in Patiala. The new outlet is at Omaxe Mall, near Kali Mata Mandir on Mall Road. Now McDonald’s has 10 outlets in Punjab.McDonald’s, besides two outlets in Chandigarh, Ludhiana has two; Jalandhar and Amritsar have one each. Doraha, Patars and Dasuya have High and Drive-Thru outlets.As per the officials, “Punjab has been one of the biggest markets for McDonald’s in India. This region is experiencing rapid economic growth and accelerated retail expansion. The new Patiala outlet not only has the elaborate use of brand specific colours and lightening, but has a unique zoned seating arrangement as well. The different table designs and multiple seating styles in the store will offer a relaxed yet unique ambience to the Patiala customers.”
