A leading cartridge refilling and refurbishing company, BlackWater Europe Technologies, has entered the Indian market with plans to open a large chain of technology stores, focused on printing and printing supplies. BW Hengduan is the brand for BlackWater’s entry into India, Sri Lanka, Bhutan, Nepal and Bangladesh in the first phase and then in Egypt, Kenya, Tanzania and Nigeria along with seven other developing economies. BlackWater Technology’s core competence lies in energy, water and resources management. The company, which is the Indian subsidiary of One GN Partners, will be opening their technology stores – Vineport – on a franchisee model. The first store will be opened in February and the company hopes to have 90 stores by the end of the year.
